  20.  It would be very difficult. If you look closely only about 5mm of the end is
  21.  contact, to make any of the other contactable you'd have to peel back the
  22.  plactic - very tricky. And then it's very difficult to get hold of the
  23.  connector with the slide-grip (you need something like this as it would be
  24.  impossible to solder the ribbon). But if you can do this i see no reason why
  25.  the driver shouldn't be able to drive this, if good contacts are made (no
  26.  sellotape and tinfoil!)

  28. If you're worried about soldering an external keyboard signal cable directly
  29. to a chip, try getting a plcc carrier and putting it upside down on top of the
  30. chip and soldering to that.

  35. Yup! Completely compatible. I'm hitting the nice black keys on my CDTV
  36. keyboard to tell you this right now :) The pinouts are simple enough, it uses
  37. a mini-DIN plug instead of a DIN, and if you want the pinouts are listed on
  38. the online A1200T guide on Pure Amiga (caution - free plug alert)
